Ambassador (Ambassador) to Indonesia Kanasugi Kenji awarded the Japan Society of Civil Engineers Excellence Award in Civil Engineering to PT Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Jakarta. The award was received directly by the Managing Director of MRT Jakarta William P Sabandar.

He admitted he was happy because Japan was able to help build the MRT, which is currently loved by the people of Jakarta. “I hope that the extension of the MRT line in the future will increase the convenience of transportation,” he said, quoted by beritajakarta.id on Thursday (11/3).
William welcomes the cooperation that has existed so far and appreciates the support of the Japanese government for the presence of the MRT in Jakarta. “Currently, phase 2 is under construction and we hope to change the culture of public transport in Jakarta,” he said.
