TWK KPK employees called on to make corruption eradication more systematic

VIVA – Communication expert Emrus Sihombing considered that transferring the status of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to the Civilian State Apparatus (ASN) via the National Insight Test (TWK) is part of the efforts to eradicate corruption to make it more systematic.

“The transfer of the status of KPK employees to ASN will make the eradication of corruption in the country more systematic or more orderly than before,” he said in a written statement received Thursday in Jakarta.

In addition, the transfer of status is also a formal matter of a statutory order (UU). In other words, it complies with Law No. 5 of 2014 relating to State officials or the ASN law.

With regard to the emergence of the opinion that the KPK and a number of government agencies have ignored President Joko Widodo’s directives regarding the existence of a number of employees who have not passed the TWK, Emrus did not see different points of view between the president and these institutions. , including the KPK.

“In fact, we are in an orbit to move forward together to eradicate corruption,” he said.
