5,889,716 people received a second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, an increase of 69,770 people
Jakarta (medialnews) – The number of COVID-19 vaccine recipients increased by 95,060 people, bringing the total to 10,801,244 people who received the COVID-19 vaccine through April 17, 2021, by administering the first dose of injection.
Based on data from the COVID-19 Management Task Force received in Jakarta on Saturday of the 1,0801244 people, 5,889,716 people received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, an increase of 69,770 people.
Currently, the government is targeting the COVID-19 vaccination target of 40,349,049 people.

People who have received the COVID-19 vaccine include health workers, government officials, public service officials, the elderly (seniors), government employees, teachers / lecturers, traders, journalists and religious leaders.
Even if they were injected with the COVID-19 vaccine, the public should still be disciplined in implementing health protocols to prevent the transmission and spread of COVID-19.
These health protocols include wearing masks, washing hands with soap and running water, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds, and reducing mobility.

There are reports that to date there are 106,243 active cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia, a decrease of 1,054 cases on April 17, 2021.
The number of recovered cases of COVID-19 in the country increased by 5,963 people to reach 1,450,192 people by April 17, 2021.
The number of positive COVID-19 cases has increased from 5,041 people to 1,599,763 people. Meanwhile, 132 people have died from COVID-19 for 43,328 people.
