Jakarta (medialnews) – Ja Morant posted 24 points, eight assists and seven rebounds to help the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday (Wednesday WIB) to a 133-104 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

Dillon Brooks scored 22 points and three steals and John Konchar added 18 for the Grizzlies (36-33) who took their third straight win and fourth in five games despite playing without Jonas Valanciunas (back pain) and Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee).

Kyle Anderson had 15 points and Brandon Clarke had 14 points and nine rebounds. Memphis took advantage of the advantage with seven players scoring double digits. The Grizzlies shot 57.3 percent off the floor and 48.5 percent (16-for-33) from 3 points.

Luka Doncic only had 4 out of 16 shots from the floor to have 12 points. He also terrified the Mavericks after jumping the billboard and falling to the concrete floor chasing a loose ball with 24 seconds to go in the second quarter.

Dunk Cauley-Stein narrowed Memphis’s lead to 72-69 in the middle of the third quarter before Anderson scored eight of his squad’s next 10 points. Anderson welcomed the rise with three mid-range jumpers and Morant added a short to push the Grizzlies’ lead to 84-71.

Frustration heightened for the Mavericks, who saw Dwight Powell being dismissed after addressing Clarke’s glaring mistake at the start of the fourth quarter. The Grizzlies scored the first eight points of the quarter to fuel the 13-4 and take their lead to 109-86.

Dallas’s JJ Redick limped off the field at the start of the second quarter and did not return to a game the team said had right heel pain. Redick missed the start of the season with a right heel / Achilles tendon problem.
