TCA discussions continue to restore parekraf with tourism stakeholders in Bali

SEMINYAK, Bali, businesswisata.co.id: Tourism and Creative Economy Minister / Head of Tourism and Creative Economy Agency Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno met a number of tourism and creative economy actors (parekraf) in Bali to discuss preparations for reviving the tourism sector and the creative economy.

One of them is the government’s plan to expand development of the travel corridor in the tourism sector, which requires the support of all parekraf players to welcome foreign tourists again.

The meeting took place at the John Hardy Boutique & Gallery in Seminyak, Bali on Tuesday (30/3/2021) evening. During the meeting, tourism and creative economy stakeholders representing various sub-sectors in Bali presented a number of contributions and suggestions.

“We have received a lot of contributions and we plan to use them to prepare for the reopening of Bali in June and July,” said Menparekraf Sandiaga.

Tourism and creative economy stakeholders also appreciate the measures taken by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy / Baparekraf to restore the tourism sector and the creative economy.

“Even though they have been in a very difficult situation for over a year, they are still optimistic about their ability to survive thanks to the measures taken by the government,” he said.

Sandiaga said that so far his party is still discussing the possibility of reopening Bali through the implementation Trip corridor layout (TCA) with the relevant ministries and agencies.

“My last communication with the Minister of Foreign Affairs was that this process will continue to be finalized and that the results will be communicated to the president for the final decision to be taken,” said Sandiaga.

To prepare for this, Sandiaga continued, the government has taken a number of strategic steps to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia. Among them, the preparation of the TCA, the preparation of tourist products and green areas, the preparation of health protocols CHSE (Cleanliness, health, safety and environmental sustainability) also accelerate the vaccination of tourism and creative economy players.

“Of course, the decision to eliminate homecoming is one of the decisions that paves the way for reducing the spread of COVID-19,” said Sandiaga Uno.

He hopes to meet the necessary preconditions to support the expansion plan development of the travel corridor open Bali tourism to foreign tourists in June and July.

At the same time, the head of the Bali Provincial Tourism Board, I Putu Astawa, appreciated the measures taken by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy / Baparekraf to revive the tourism sector and the creative economy in the region. .

“We need collaboration and the minister has taken strategic action. Starting by assisting with the President to review the vaccination process, prepare the CHSE, then also coordinate with the ministers. This is all done for tourism in Bali, ”I Putu Astawa said.

During this visit, Sandiaga Uno was accompanied by the Deputy of Industry and Investment of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy / Baparekraf, Fadjar Hutomo; and the Director of Nature, Culture and Artificial Tourism at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy / Baparekraf, Alexander Reyaan.

Sandiaga continues to discuss possibility of reopening Bali through implementation development of the travel corridor (TCA) with the relevant ministries and agencies.
