medialnews, JAKARTA – The corruption case involving KPK investigator Stepanus Robin Pattuju (SRP) is seen as a form of moral collapse of anti-corruption agency staff.

According to political observer Rocky Gerung, KPK investigators, who are supposed to be a bulwark against corruption, are instead taking advantage of the situation for personal gain.

“So this morale of the KPK has indeed been destroyed,” said Rocky Gerung in his personal account on YouTube on Sunday (4/25).

Regarding the mention of the name of the vice president of the DPR RI Azis Syamsuddin in the corruption case of the mayor of Tanjungbalai, North Sumatra, Syahrial, the public is seen as not having much hope from the KPK.

This is reflected in the “evaporated” names of PDIP officials Herman Hery and Ihsan Yunus in the Social Assistance Ministry of Social Affairs corruption case.

“Does the KPK still have the capacity to strengthen its integrity? People are doubting it now,” he said.

In addition, the vice president of the DPR is one of the most powerful people, who determines the formation of the KPK law, also fit and suitable test candidate for the post of Commissioner KPK.

“When it comes to the presumption of innocence, it is the judge’s business. However, the public has a right to suspect their guilt for being involved there,” he said.
