Range Rover catches fire in Rawamangun

Jakarta (medialnews) – A Range Rover Vogue car was set on fire in Jalan Rawamangun Muka Timur RT 003 RW 12, Rawamangun, East Jakarta, allegedly due to a fuel leak.

Gatot Sulaeman, chief of the operations office of the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Agency (Gulkarmat), said the incident occurred at 3:57 p.m. WIB.

“The cause of the fire is believed to be due to a fuel leak. When the car started, BBM fled and caused a fire, ”Gatot Sulaeman said when he was confirmed in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Finding the report, Gatot said his party had deployed a pumping unit with a total of five people to put out the blaze.

“The officers arrived at the scene at 4:04 pm WIB and the interdiction process was declared complete at 4:20 pm WIB,” said Gatot Sulaeman.

The incident, according to Gatot, left no injuries or injuries. The owner of the car, known as Erwin (47), managed to save himself shortly after the spark.

Gatot added that due to the material loss caused by the fire, the total was estimated to reach IDR 150 million.
