MEDIALNEWS.COM, FRANCE – Lille are at the top of the French League standings which are busy after the 32nd week of matches played on Monday (12/4) WIB.
Lille won 2-0 during a trip to the headquarters of Metz thanks to goals from Burak Yilmaz and Zeki Celik, at the opening of the 32nd week last Saturday (10/4).
Less than 24 hours later, defending champions Paris Saint-Germain won 4-1 at home against Strasbourg.
In this match, Mauricio Pochettino rested a number of his pillars, in order to host the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final.
Then, on Monday morning, AS Monaco and Olympique Lyon both won a 3-0 victory over their respective guests, namely Dijon and Angers.
These results leave the lead and the fourth-ranked team five points behind.
Lille leads with 69 points, followed by PSG (68), Monaco (65) and Lyon (64).
While at the bottom of the table, AS Saint-Etienne continued its positive trend by beating Bordeaux 4-1 to widen the safety distance with the relegation zone.
