PROFILE 3 New parties in Indonesia: Gelora Party, Masyumi Reborn Party and Ummat Party

medialnews – The political world of the country was again animated by the presence of a new political party (parpol).

It is the Ummat party, a party formed by a senior politician, Amien Rais.

Amien Rais told the Ummat party in Yogyakarta on Thursday (4/29/2021).

Instead of naming one of his children, the former president of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR RI) appointed his son-in-law, Ridho Rahmadi, as president.

None other than the Gelora Party chaired by Anis Matta and the Masyumi Reborn Party chaired by Ahmad Yani.

Looking further, there are similarities between the three new parties, namely that they both share Islam and are occupied by older people who have graduated from the previous party.
