medialnews – The political world of the country was again animated by the presence of a new political party (parpol).
It is the Ummat party, a party formed by a senior politician, Amien Rais.
Amien Rais told the Ummat party in Yogyakarta on Thursday (4/29/2021).
Instead of naming one of his children, the former president of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR RI) appointed his son-in-law, Ridho Rahmadi, as president.

Before the Ummat party, to be honest, there were two new parties that also emerged and animated the political map of the country.
None other than the Gelora Party chaired by Anis Matta and the Masyumi Reborn Party chaired by Ahmad Yani.
Looking further, there are similarities between the three new parties, namely that they both share Islam and are occupied by older people who have graduated from the previous party.

1. Gelora Party

The Indonesian People’s Wave Party or the Indonesian Gelora Party was established on October 28, 2019 or a few months after the end of the 2019 general election.
