Because the area is also quite large, currently Bogor Regency has a burden like the burden of the province, “he told Cibinong after attending the plenary meeting of the Joint Approval for Regional Candidates for New Autonomy Preparation (CDPOB ), in Bandung, Friday.

According to him, the population of Bogor Regency, which now numbers 5.4 million, is considered too large for the government of Bogor Regency to provide optimal services and development.

Meanwhile, West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil said the CDPOB was the government’s effort to accelerate growth and equitable development.

“During the period 2018-2023, six proposals are targeted for the training of new autonomous candidates in preparation to be submitted to the central government, one each for 2020 and 2021, and two proposals for 2022-2023 each,” said Emil.

Currently, two CDPOBs are offered, namely East Bogor and West Indramayu. According to him, the provincial government of West Java pocketed the administrative requirements to expand the two regions.
