Polri: Munarman’s involvement in the terrorist network will be open to all before the courts

medialnews, JAKARTA – The national police have confirmed that the former secretary general of the Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI) Munarman was indeed involved in a terrorist network.

Nor are the investigations that have been carried out so far a mere fabrication.

“We will see, for sure in open court everything. Where did he get involved (Munarman), what types of incidents will be revealed,” Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono of Karopenmas Divhumas Polri said on Wednesday ( 19/5).

The one-star general said that from the investigation and the evidence found by investigators, it was clear that Munarman’s involvement was clear.

“The activities that took place in Jakarta, Makassar and Medan were considered a violation of the law on terrorism,” said Rusdi.

According to Rusdi, anti-terror investigators at Densus 88 were not negligent in investigating the case until they arrested and named Munarman as a suspect.

“I think Densus 88 will work well,” Rusdi said.

In fact, Densus 88 investigators continue to investigate Munarman and his colleagues.
