Persija has a football-themed Islamic boarding school during Ramadan

Jakarta (medialnews) – The Indonesian League 1 Club Persija Jakarta will hold a football-themed pesantren during Ramadan, more precisely April 24-25, 2021 in Nirwana Park, Depok, West Java.

Lama Persija in Jakarta said on Tuesday that a program called ‘Pesantren Bola Persija 2021’ will be directly supervised by AFC and PSSI licensed religious leaders and academy trainers.

In addition, legendary right back Persija who still actively plays Ismed Sofyan will also participate here.

Ismed, who is also a licensed AFC B coach, will share his experiences, spiritual knowledge and football with all participants.

“Of course this activity will still be fun. In addition to learning football, this activity also includes positive activities to increase religious knowledge in the form of Islamic boarding schools,” said Persija Ganesha Putera, director of football development.

Ganesha said that any participant who joins the pesantren will be given Persija standard facilities, starting from a place of residence up to the health protocol to avoid COVID-19.

“The facilities that Persija players’ standard participants get include knife, standard athlete nutrition, and a strict health protocol guarantee,” he said.

Persija sets a fee of IDR 2 million for participating in this program if you register until April 17, 2021 and IDR 2.5 million for registration from April 18.

However, for SSB Mitra Persija players participating in the Young Tiger League 2021, the flat fee is IDR 2 million.
