Indonesia has qualified for the final of the FIFAe Nations Series 2021

Jakarta (medialnews) – Indonesia’s first eNational Squad team to qualify for the final round of the 2021 FIFAe Nations Series representing the Asia-Oceania zone, which will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, August 20-22.

Moehamad Zulisar and Fahmi Husaeni, who represented the Indonesian team, faced the Singaporean and Chinese teams on Friday in the ongoing group stage of the FIFAe Nations Online Qualifiers 2021 Asia and Oceania Zone tournament in Jakarta.

Citing the PSSI page, Indonesia won 2-0 on Xbox on Friday, while Indonesia lost 0-1 to Singapore on Play Station. After that, Indonesia beat China on the Xbox played by Fahmi Husaeni with a fantastic score of 8-1.

At Play Station, Moehamad Zulisar gave up 0-2 due to a network outage.

The results of this group stage ultimately ensured Indonesia entrenched itself in second place in the Group B standings for the Asia & Oceania Zone, advancing to the Winner Bracket semi-finals to meet Malaysia.

The game against Malaysia held at 3:30 pm WIB on the same day was very exciting and dramatic.

At Play Station, Moehamad Zulisar managed to score a 2-1 victory, while Fahmi Husaeni had to fight on Xbox until the extra round, before winning the match against Malaysia in a shootout with a final score of 7-4 (3-3).

Thanks to these two consecutive wins against Malaysia, Indonesia secured tickets to represent Asia and Oceania for the final round of the 2021 FIFAe Nations Series.

PSSI Chairman Mochamad Iriawan is grateful for the results recorded by Indonesia’s first eNational Squad.

“Thank goodness our first national team performed brilliantly today and made it to the final round. I am very happy and hope that with eFootball they can make Indonesia proud in the future,” said Iriawan.

Although not as old as corn, the world has proven itself with the eNational Squad Indonesia, which was only established in March.

PSSI Deputy Secretary General Maaike Ira Puspita was also proud of eNational Squad Indonesia appearing in the FIFAe Nations Online Qualifiers 2021 series.

“I am very proud of the hard work and results that Fami and Zulisar have shown as our first eNational Squad. PSSI is committed to further developing the talents of eFootball players and the eFootball industry in Indonesia,” he concluded.
