Garuda’s team is preparing for the “real game” after their opponent Oman

Jakarta (medialnews) – The Garuda squad for the Indonesian national team is ready for a “real game”, namely three qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup in the Asian zone after losing 1-3 to Oman on Saturday (29/5) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

“After Oman, the real game will start. We will fix the shortcomings one by one,” Indonesian national team coach Shin Tae-yong said on the official PSSI website in Jakarta on Sunday.

One of the South Korean tactician’s concerns is defense, especially for the center-back.

According to Shin, the players are currently in good shape and ready to receive intensive training.

However, there is one name that must pass a special exam, namely goalkeeper Nadeo Argawinata, who previously played against Oman.

“Except for Nadeo, all players are in very good health. They have worked hard in the past two games,” said Shin.

The Indonesian national team will be in Dubai on June 3-11, 2021 for the last three matches in Group G of the 2022 Asian Cup qualifier for the Asian zone.

Garuda’s team will play against Thailand on June 3, 2021, then against Vietnam on June 7, 2021 and the United Arab Emirates on June 11, 2021.

In Dubai, Evan Dimas and his friends underwent two test matches against Afghanistan and Oman, losing the results by 2-3 and 1-3 respectively.
