Fabio Di Giannantonio confidently eyes Moto2 Jerez podium

medialnews – Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 rider Fabio Di Giannantonio showed promise in the Moto2 qualifying session at the Jerez circuit in Spain on Saturday (1/5).

Therefore, the Italian rider will start in second place. Meanwhile, his teammate, Nicolo Bulega, will start from 13th position in Sunday’s race (2/5).

The man who is familiarly known as Diggia has indeed looked competitive since the first free practice session. Diggia was able to survive in the top ten.

The number 21 rider will fight to make Indonesia proud again by winning the second podium this season.

“This result is very encouraging because we started in the front row to be able to compete with the front groups,” said Diggia in a press release on Sunday (2/5).

The 4423 meter long Jerez circuit has 13 bends that allow the bike to overtake, so it needs optimal braking.

This is what makes Diggia want to make changes to the braking system for a more optimal ride.

In addition, Diggia has also stated that it will use new tires to be able to appear competitive.
