Deputy Governor of DKI: Jalan Falatehan cafe sealed due to violation

Jakarta (medialnews) – DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria has said that a cafe in Jalan Falatehan, Kebayoran Baru, in South Jakarta has been sealed due to a violation.

“Usually the Satpol PP seal is due to the fact that there are multiple reasons, like a violation of sanitary protocols, or there is a fight, of course there are rules that need to be sealed,” Riza told Jakarta City Hall on Monday.

Previously, a cafe on Jalan Falatehan, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, was the site of a mob attack which resulted in the death of a Brimob member and the injury of a Kopassus member.

However, Riza said he did not know the details of the matter of the sealing by his staff, which allegedly followed the attack on two people who were members of Kopassus and Brimob.

“Later we will ask the Satpol PP for details,” said Riza.

Previously, the DKI provincial government sealed the cafe in Jalan Falatehan, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta (Jaksel), which was the location of the beatings of Kopassus and Brimob members by a number of unknown persons (OTK) after that previously the cafe doors had also been given police lines.

Sealing is done by affixing a temporary sealing sticker with the logo of the provincial government DKI Jakarta (Pemprov).

The seal, registered under number 2530 / SATPOLPPJS / BAP / IV / 2021 and bearing the mention “ Administrative sanctions for the implementation of TEMPORARY CLOSED activities ” are based on the recognition of local residents installed by the agents of the municipal police around 4:00 p.m. WIB.

So far, Polda Metro Jaya is investigating the case of the beatings that killed a Brimob member and injured the Kopassus member, with around six witnesses being interviewed by police.

The brutal beating of Brimob and Kopassus members by a number of Unknown Persons (OTK) was recorded on CCTV. Images of the incident have gone viral on social media.

Based on the information gathered, the incident occurred on Sunday (18/4) at 05:30 WIB.
