COVID-19 vaccination for North Jakarta UKM can be done at Emporium Pluit Mall

Jakarta (medialnews) – COVID-19 vaccination services for mall workers / employees as well as small and medium-sized businesses (UKMs) in North Jakarta have been available at the Pluit Mall Emporium since Tuesday.

In addition, DKI Jakarta Shopping Center Management Association President Ellen Hidayat in Jakarta said that there are 10 vaccination centers in other shopping malls that open vaccination services namely Senayan City (central Jakarta ), Gandaria City, Pondok Indah Mal, Kota. Kasablanka, Lippo Mal Kemang. And Blok M Plaza (South Jakarta).

In addition, Lippo Mall Puri and Taman Anggrek Mall, (West Jakarta) and Artha Gading Mall, Mall Of Indonesia (North Jakarta).

“The vaccination centers in these shopping centers target SMEs and government officials / employees who work in the shopping centers of DKI Jakarta,” Ellen said in a written statement.

So far, there are around 95,700 vaccine quota doses needed for 85 shopping centers for APPBI members.

Ellen said that employees working in shopping malls are also a frontline group that interacts with the public.

Therefore, they deserve to be a priority group for vaccine recipients as mandated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) so that group immunity in Indonesia can be achieved immediately.

Ellen said that at present, 28 more shopping malls are being prepared by the APPBI to become the next vaccination center.

He is grateful for the excellent collaboration and synergy of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, the Ministry of Commerce and the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan. The hopes and wishes of the existing retailer association can be realized by APPBI.

The DKI provincial government provided 4,500 vaccine quotas to support immunization implementation.
