Mataram (medialnews) – BPKP Deputy Chief for Oversight of Government Agencies for Economy and Maritime Affairs, Salamat Simanullang, said his party was strongly committed to being ready to collaborate in maintaining fiscal accountability and regional development , in particular development supervision in West Nusa Tenggara province.

“We will continue to strengthen the coordination in the field of supervision. So that we can all contribute more optimally and maximally to the achievement of the well-being of people,” he said at the coordination meeting of internal oversight of NTB Finance and Development at the Graha Bhakti Praja Building, NTB Governor’s Office in Mataram, Tuesday.

He said collaboration between the provincial government of the NTB (Pemprov), the Internal Development Oversight Apparatus (APIP), the KPK and the BPKP was needed to secure and help regional leaders ensure that strategic projects fit together. take place according to the corridors and minimize the occurrence of deviations in their implementation.

For this reason, it is necessary to have a joint escort with the officials concerned and it is hoped that they will be able to act as a lever for the achievement of a responsible acceleration of economic development, so that development can be felt at all levels of society.

“Ultimately, together we can achieve the well-being of society. The key words to achieve all of this are communication, synergy and collaboration,” he said.

Meanwhile, NTB Deputy Governor Hj Sitti Rohmi Djalilah admitted that communication, synergy and collaboration of all parties are the main keys to safeguarding financial accountability and regional development.

Especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the collaboration and synergy of the provincial government of NTB between the Financial and Development Monitoring Agency (BPKP) and the APIP in NTB are still well established in promoting massive cooperation. Likewise, cooperation between regional APIP, provincial government, district and city governments and BPKP can remain strong.

“Indeed, we believe that communication, synergy and collaboration are the keys to regional development. So that whatever the current conditions, we can still do it together,” said the deputy governor.

During a coordination meeting initiated by the provincial BPKP of NTB on the theme “Preserving the objectives of regional development through the supervision of budget planning in the province of NTB”. All the regents and mayors of NTB and several heads of OPD within the provincial government of NTB also participated.

NTB Deputy Governor explained, through the efforts of good communication, synergy and collaboration, that NTB provincial government has obtained an unqualified opinion (WTP) from BPK for 10 consecutive times on NTB’s provincial financial report. from 2011 to 2020.

What has been achieved shows the commitment of the provincial government of NTB and its OPD ranks in the quality of the financial reports produced. Of course, this is inseparable from the effective synergy of all stakeholders in NTBs.

“Likewise with the regencies and cities that have won the WTP on several occasions. Alhamdulillah, all of this is inseparable from good cooperation so that we are protected from unwanted things,” he said.

In addition, he also appreciates all the regents and mayors who have succeeded in controlling finance and regional development in all corners of NTB.

Even in the midst of the current pandemic situation, NTB province has never experienced a 100% bed occupancy rate (BOR) for referral hospitals for corona patients. Then there is no place to take care of the community, that has never happened.

“Alhamdulillah and I hope we will always pray that something unwanted will happen. As we have seen in other areas, until the community is not managed properly,” he said. declared.

According to Rohmi, during the current COVID-19 pandemic, NTB’s economic growth in the first quarter has contracted.

However, Rohmi remains optimistic about NTB’s survival as there are many other sectors that can be developed besides the tourism sector. Whether it is the agriculture, plantations and fishing sectors. Likewise, the creative economy of the people is still evolving well, which allows the community to survive even in the midst of a pandemic.

Meanwhile, V KPK region coordination and supervision director Budi Waluya said the potential and indication of fraud in regional financial management, APBD planning and budgeting are 2 points out of 9 corruption issues at regional government level.
