Blocking on the “mouse route” to target two-wheeled travelers

Jakarta (medialnews) – The Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of Polda Metro Jaya has focused on blocking the ban on entering their homes on “rat roads” to deter travelers using two-wheeled vehicles.

“Not only for four or more wheels, but also especially for motorists, two-wheeled travelers suspected of returning home on a motorcycle later,” Polda Metro traffic director Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo told the SIM Daan Mogot, West Jakarta, Tuesday,

Polda Metro Jaya Ditlantas made up to 16 “rat paths” before the No Go Home Policy was enacted.

Sambodo said his staff are still plotting other alternative routes and will prepare security posts on the “rat route” and the alternative routes.

“Well, it will be before May 6 cartography and we will establish security posts there, to carry out checks and isolation, ”he said.

Sambodo gave examples of several “rat routes” or alternative routes that are often used by travelers to break the ban on going home.

“For example, Pebayuran to Karawang, then there is a bridge which leads to Tanjung Pura Karawang, then Cibarusa which goes to Cianjur, then other roads leading from Tangerang to Banten,” he said.
