Before Eid, the city of Malang receives 100 thousand AstraZeneca vaccines sent

VIVA – The city of Malang received another shipment of vaccines from the Indonesian Ministry of Health. Now, before Eid 2021, the Malang City Health Unit has received 100,000 AstraZeneca vaccines for the elderly in this region.

Head of the Malang City Health Unit, Husnul Muarif confirmed that they no longer received Sinovac vaccines but AstraZeneca vaccines. Vaccines are being sent to continue the second phase vaccination program in Malang City. The continuation of the second phase of vaccination is likely to be carried out after Idul Fitri 2021.

“For now, we are backing it up first. We will shut it down first and then distribute it to the target,” Husnul said on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
