Arema FC welcomes the planned training with Rans FC on June 6, 2021

Malang, East Java (medialnews) – The team nicknamed Singo Edan, Arema FC will hold a trial match against Rans Cilegon FC, scheduled for June 6, 2021 behind closed doors, at Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang Regency, East Java.

Media officer Arema FC Sudarmaji said the game against Rans FC was actually part of a joint training plan between the two teams, before the League 1 and League 2 competitions went round.

“Arema FC welcomes the scheduled training with Rans FC on June 6, 2021. This plan has been communicated to the coach and the coach welcomes the plan,” Sudarmaji said Tuesday in Malang City, East Java.

According to Sudarmaji, the trial match against Rans FC was part of the coaching team’s analysis of Singo Edan’s strengths and weaknesses. Arema FC has appointed Portuguese coach Eduardo Almeida as coach for one season.

Sudarmaji explained that the conduct of the trial match held behind closed doors was intended to further implement the health protocol for dealing with COVID-19. Because so far, the pandemic caused by the corona virus is not over yet.

“This pilot match is also an arena for a health protocol campaign in football,” added Sudarmaji.

For your information, although Rans Cilegon FC is a team that plays in the Indonesian League 2, it has quality player material.

Some of the names reinforcing the team include Hendra Ridwan, former Arema FC defender Mifathul Ikhsan, former Borneo FC Rifal Lastori player, Christian Gonzales, to Patrich Wanggai.

Arema FC is currently preparing teams and players for the progression of the 2021 season amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
