Anies: activities from shopping centers to cinemas in the red zone have been temporarily suspended

The community should step up activities to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Jakarta (medialnews) – DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan called for a temporary halt to the activities of shopping malls, food stalls, cafes, restaurants and cinemas in the red and orange zones from 12-16 May 2021.

This is stated in the fourth dictum of the 2021 DKI Jakarta Governor’s Appeal Number 5 for monitoring community activities to prevent the spread of the 2019 Coronavirus (COVID-19) during Eid Al-Fitr 1442 H / 2021 Mr.

“Commercial players, managers, organizers, or managers of shopping malls / shopping centers, food stalls, restaurants, cafes, restaurants and cinemas in the red and orange zones have temporarily stopped their activities”, Anies said in the call received Monday by medialnews night.

The call also asks commercial players outside the red and orange zones to impose limits on operating hours no later than 9:00 p.m. WIB as well as a capacity limitation of up to 50%.

“Asked to limit the number of visitors to a maximum of 50 percent of total capacity,” Anies wrote.

This appeal by the DKI Jakarta provincial government calls on everyone in DKI Jakarta province from May 12 to 16, 2021 to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

“People should step up their activities to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by doing these things,” he said.

This appeal was made by Anies with reference to the Minister of Transport’s Regulation number PM 13 of 2021 regarding the control of transport during the Idul Fitri 1442 Hijri period in the context of preventing the spread of COVID-19.
