AKP Stepanus corruption case, KPK examines Azis Syamsuddin today

VIVA – Investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) today summoned Indonesia’s Deputy Speaker of Parliament Azis Syamsuddin for a review.

Acting KPK spokesperson Ali Fikri said Azis was called as a witness to complete the investigation file of the suspect, Deputy Police Commissioner (AKP) Stepanus Robin Pattuju.

“Azis Syamsuddin was called as a witness for the SRP suspect,” Ali Fikri told the media team on Friday, May 7, 2021.

Besides Azis, the KPK also summoned the regional secretary of the Tanjungbalai city government, Yusmada, as a witness. However, Yusmada will be questioned to complete the case of the suspect mayor of Tanjungbalai, Mr. Syahrial.

“During this time, Yusmada will be questioned as a witness for the suspect MS,” Ali said.
