171 thousand vehicles leave Jabotabek from May 6 to 7, 2021

VIVA – PT Jasa Marga Tbk revealed, from D-7 to D-6 Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1442 H or from May 6 to 7, 2021, up to 171,358 vehicles left the Jabotabek region heading east, from west and south.

Dwimawan Heru, director of PT Jasa Marga’s corporate communications and community development group, said the figure was down 41.4% from normal traffic of 292,522 vehicles.

“The three-way traffic distribution is 34.5% to the East, 38.4% to the West and 27.1% to the South,” he said in a press release from Saturday 8 May 2021.

Dwimawan also clarified, to the east, that it was the GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek toll road, with a total of 28,848 vehicles leaving Jakarta. This is a decrease of 55.7% compared to normal traffic of 65,184 vehicles.
