Train operations at Soekarno-Hatta Airport ahead of the Eid al-Adha holiday will be 60 trips

He explained that it was intended to facilitate ticket payment transactions passengerFrom June 13, 2023, ticket payments at Soekarno-Hatta Airport will already take place using QRIS or debit or credit cards. Previously, ticket purchases were only made via C-Access, Access by KAI, multi-trip ticket (KMT) or reservation.kci.id.

Meanwhile, the Merak Commuter Line recorded a total user volume of 27,200 people during the Eid al-Adha holiday. The highest traffic volume was observed on Saturday, June 16, 2024, as many as 13,918 people.

He said KAI Commuter operates 14 Merak Commuter Line trips every day during the Idul Adha holidays. The train operates with a total user capacity of 10,685 people per day.

He said reservations and purchases of Merak Commuter Line tickets can be made through Access by KAI. Access by can be done seven days before the day of departure or purchased directly at the station. “Users are expected to arrive early to verify details before departure,” he said.

He appealed for mutual comfort when using this train: KAI Commuter prohibits passengers from carrying luggage that smells strongly and disrupts the comfort of other users. “KAI Commuter also invites (passengers) to always follow the instructions of officers at the station and on the train,” he said.

He said KAI Commuter has called on all users of the Jabodetabek Commuter Line, Soekarno-Hatta Airport and Merak to always follow the rules during their travel. For users who bring family and children to always take care and supervise them in trains and stations. “Follow the instructions of the officers, stay alert and always ensure safety,” he said.

According to him, during the Eid al-Adha holiday, the Jabodetabek Commuter Line recorded a number of electric train users until 6:00 PM WIB of 324,280 people on Monday, June 17, 2024. It was observed that the electric train users were busy and running smoothly.

He said that Bogor Station, as a departure and arrival station, was the station with the highest passenger volume. The number of departing passengers was 22,078 people. Meanwhile, 23,374 people got off at the station.
