Prabowo's Free Nutritious Food Budget Is IDR 71 Trillion, This Is Sri Mulyani's Message: Okezone Economy

JAKARTA – Free Nutritious Food Priority Program (MBG) which came out based on the program of the new government of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka is currently being discussed.

The Minister of Finance (Menkeu), Sri Mulyani, has asked Prabowo and the Synchronization Task Force Team for an in-depth explanation on how the MGB program will operate in accordance with the Draft State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) for 2025.

“President-elect, Mr. Prabowo, has said that he agrees that the implementation of the Free Nutritious Food (MBG) program will be carried out in phases and for the first year of his administration in 2025, an allocation of approximately IDR 71 trillion agreed. in the RAPBN of 2025,” Sri Mulyani explained during a press conference at the House of Representatives Central DJP Jakarta.

Sri added that the amount of IDR 71 trillion falls within the deficit range of 2.29%-2.82%, which will then be included in the 2025 APBN Law.

“This is being carried out under the APBN cycle process provided for in the State Finance Act and will be discussed with the DPR to obtain approval for the APBN Act,” he explained.
