DPR says Hasyim Asy’ari’s facilities as KPU commissioner were revoked after he was officially dismissed

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Member of Commission II DPR RI of the National Mandate Party (PAN) faction, Guspardi Gaus said afterwards Hasyim Asy’ari officially dismissed as chairman and member of the General Election Commission (KPU)RI then facilities such as cars and other objects attached to them are lost.

Earlier, President Joko Widodo signed a presidential decree or presidential decree on his resignation on July 9, 2024. Hasyim was dismissed by the Honorary Council of Election Management or DKPP due to the case of immoral intimidation against the Overseas Election Committee (PPLN) in The Hague, Netherlands, a woman with the initials CAT.

Regarding the use of private jets, Afifuddin said they were used to handle logistics for the 2024 elections.

“So far, this has been done to visit places that are difficult to reach because time is very tight. There is a risk that the goods cannot be delivered, and so on,” he said.
