BARESKRIM Polri received reports from seven convicts in the murder case of Vina Dewi Arsita, 16 and Muhammad Rizky alias Eky, 16 against witnesses Aep and Dede. This was brought by the lawyers of the seven convicts who represented them in drawing up a report.

“So it is true that I filed a complaint today on behalf of the convicts and this activity is a series of activities to search for other evidence. Hopefully, we will be interrogated again in the future and everything will go smoothly,” said the police lawyer for the seven convicts, Roely Panggabean, at the National Police Investigation Unit, Jakarta South, Wednesday (7/10).

According to Roely, Aep and Dede made false statements when questioned by the police in the Vina murder case. This information is also included in the inspection report (BAP).

“Aep and Dede’s false statement stated that they had seen the five convicts in front of SMP 11. In reality, they were not there,” said Roely.

Furthermore, Roely said that the statement of Aep and Dede that there was a commotion and throwing of stones on the night of the incident was not true. For this reason, he hopes that with this report the police can prove the truth of the information of the two witnesses, Aep and Dede.

“Later it will be up to the investigators to decide whether they are lying or not, and then they will be discovered,” Roely said.
