The National Food Agency (Bapanas) has announced the launch of an exciting Instagram Reels video contest to celebrate its third anniversary. The contest aims to raise awareness about consuming diverse, nutritious, balanced and safe foods while advocating for food waste.

The competition, quoted from the National Food Agency’s Instagram account, has a theme Come on, eat foods that are diverse, nutritious, balanced and safe! like Let’s stop wasting food! invites participants to demonstrate their creativity and commitment to these critical issues through community participation in this short video contest on Instagram Reels.

The third anniversary of the National Food Agency marks a milestone in its mission to ensure food security and promote healthy eating habits across the country. With this competition, the National Food Agency aims to engage the public in campaigns on food diversity, nutrition, safety and the importance of reducing food waste.

General requirements

1. The competition is open to the public, with the exception of employees of the National Food Agency.

2. Participants can participate individually or in groups.

3. Participants can choose one of the indicated themes.

4. The jury’s decision cannot be contested.

5. Competition is free/free.

6. The work of the participants becomes the property of the National Food Agency and can be used as necessary.

7. The winner of the competition will be determined by a jury appointed by the committee.

8. The jury’s decision cannot be contested.

9. Videos of participants in the competition become the property of the National Food Agency and may be used by the National Food Agency if necessary.

Conditions

1. Participants in the competition are required to upload their work in the form of video footage on Instagram, depending on the chosen topic.

2. Videos must be original work, never published on any platform and never entered into any contest, either online or offline, and they can be taken into account.

3. The minimum duration of video reels is 60 seconds and a maximum of 90 seconds.

4. Video works must comply with social norms and may not contain elements of violence, pornography, insults or intimidation of SARA and others of a personal nature.

5. Participants’ social media accounts will not be private during the competition period.

6. The video work will be uploaded to the participant’s Instagram account by adding an interesting caption and tagging the IG account @badanpangannasional with the hashtag #3tahunnfa #panganuntuknegeri, and mentioning three other accounts. Participants are required to follow the account @badanpangannasional.

Video content can be uploaded from July 10 to July 25, 2024. Judging will take place from July 26 to 27, 2024. The winner of the competition will be announced on July 28, 2024.

Videos will be judged based on creativity, relevance to the theme and quality by a panel of experts from the National Food Agency and experienced photojournalists. The total prize is IDR 12 million. The winning video will be displayed on the Instagram account of the National Food Agency. (RO/Z-2)
